Our verdict
The MC7000CH is a sensible small-room all-rounder: quiet enough for a bedroom, cheap to run on R290 refrigerant and backed by a 3-year warranty. Heating mode makes it useful outside summer, though at 7,000 BTU it will struggle in anything larger than a small lounge.
Good
- Three-year parts and labour warranty
- Quiet single-fan operation for a bedroom
- Year-round use thanks to heat mode
Watch out
- Only suits smaller rooms up to 22m²
- Single-hose design is less efficient than dual-hose
