Daikin Comfora

The Comfora is Daikin's budget-conscious wall unit, trading the Perfera's chart-topping efficiency for a keener price while keeping Daikin reliability. Its SCOP of 4.6 still makes it an effective air-to-air heat pump for shoulder-season and mild-winter heating. Note that Wi-Fi is an optional add-on rather than built in.

Panasonic Etherea Z

The Etherea Z is Panasonic's premium wall split, pairing A+++ ratings in both modes with the nanoe X air purifier that runs even when you are not cooling. Its high SCOP makes it a strong air-to-air heat pump, comfortably heating a room through a UK winter at low cost. A refined, quiet and well-rounded alternative to the Daikin Perfera.
