Duracell Dura16
The Dura16 is a lot of usable storage for the money: 14.4kWh of a 16kWh pack, at 6.6kW, with an 8,000-cycle rating that comfortably outlasts the 10-year warranty on paper. The familiar brand is licensed: it's built and warranty-supported by Puredrive Energy in Gloucestershire, which is worth knowing given how much a battery warranty depends on the company still being there. The catch is tie-in: it's sold only alongside a Duracell inverter, so it suits a new install rather than a retrofit onto an existing hybrid.

The natural battery choice if you're fitting (or already have) a SolaX inverter, with tidy integration and big expansion headroom at a competitive price. Less compelling with a non-SolaX inverter.
