Enphase IQ8MC Microinverter
Different in kind from everything else in this category. Each IQ8MC sits behind one panel and puts out a maximum of 330W of AC on its own, so the catalogue's 0.33kW is a per-unit figure, and a real installation is a string of them. That buys per-module MPPT (shading on one panel does not drag the rest down), low-voltage DC on the roof, and rapid shutdown. The datasheet's 1.43A maximum output current means G98 headroom is a question of how many units you fit, not of one unit: Enphase's own limit is 11 units on a 16A single-phase circuit. Maximum efficiency is 97.5%, warranty up to 25 years provided an internet-connected IQ Gateway is installed.

The same box as the 3.6K with more output: 5kW, a 7.5kW recommended maximum PV input, and 97.7% maximum efficiency, the highest figure on this datasheet. The trade-off is the connection route: rated grid output current is 22.7A at 220V (21.7A at 230V), well over the 16A G98 line, so it needs a G99 application approved before commissioning.
