Zendure's all-in-one balcony battery: 1.92kWh usable with an 800W hybrid microinverter and 2,640W of DC-coupled PV input, stackable to 11.5kWh.
Not legal to self-install as plug-in solar
This system stores energy, which the UK plug-in solar rules (SI 2026/848) exclude. It can't be used under the plug-in route, so in Great Britain it needs a hardwired installation by a qualified electrician.

Our verdict
DC-coupled, so the panels feed the battery directly and surplus is caught before the 800W bottleneck, the right architecture if you're running big arrays. Strong value per stored kWh, but UK buyers currently have to import via specialist retailers rather than a Zendure UK store, so factor in shipping and thinner local support. Like all plug-in batteries, it can't currently be self-installed in Great Britain.
