Anker SOLIX Solarbank 4 E5000 Pro
The most complete balcony battery Anker sells: enough PV input to run seriously oversized panels without clipping losses, off-peak grid charging, and modular expansion to 30kWh. Anker's GB filing for this system was assessed non-compliant for the plug-in route, so it needs a hardwired installation by a qualified electrician. The natural upgrade path if you started with a STREAM microinverter: stack it under the inverter and your clipped surplus goes into storage instead of nowhere. It's the most readily available of these batteries in the UK, but plug-in batteries can't currently be self-installed in Great Britain, so for now it needs an electrician-installed connection.
